Fees

For performing notarial activities, a notary is entitled to remuneration determined on the basis of an agreement with the parties to the activity, not higher than the maximum notarial fee rates applicable to a given activity. The notary’s remuneration does not include travel costs and other necessary expenses incurred by the notary in connection with the performance of the activities. The Regulation of the Minister of Justice on the maximum rates of notarial fees of June 28, 2004 (i.e. of August 11, 2020, Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1473) specifies the maximum rates of notarial fees for notarial activities and the maximum amounts, by which the remuneration for performing notarial activities outside the notary’s office may be increased.

For preparing an extract, copy or extract from notarial records or other documents, the maximum rate is PLN 6 for each page started.

a) on documents, if the item is marked with a sum of money – 1/10 of the maximum rate that would be payable if the document was prepared in the form of a notarial deed, but not more than PLN 300,

b) on powers of attorney and other documents – PLN 20
